Hammerkeel Labs
Our Story
An ecosystem of AI bot skills, built one step at a time.
How we came to be.
Hi, I'm Chris Naylon. Hammerkeel Labs is simply the name I build under. It's run by me, an individual, and this is how it started.
Time to think
Some of the best thinking I've ever done has happened behind the wheel. The drive back from St. Augustine to Sarasota was one of those times. Long stretches of road, the radio low, and nothing to do but think.
I thought about my faith and my family. I thought about how much of my week went to tasks that didn't really need me. And I kept coming back to one question: what would it look like to buy some of that time back?
From using it to building with it
I'd already been using Grok for a while, and I appreciated it. It helped me think, write, and work through problems. But I was using it the way most of us use a tool: one question at a time.
Then, on Thursday, September 24, 2026, I signed up to start building my own Grok bots, and the idea took hold. Building bots is when it became transformative for me.
That's when it stopped being a tool I used and became something I built with.
I'm honestly in awe of what Grok can do. I'm humbled by it, and grateful that someone like me gets to build with it.
One part of life at a time
I started where I was most comfortable: financials. Numbers are where I've spent most of my career, so that's where I leaned in first.
Then came the personal business side of life, the paperwork and follow-ups and small things that are easy to let slide.
After that, I turned to the health side. That's simply where I chose to focus my attention next. I'm not promising anything about it, and the bots aren't a substitute for anyone's doctor or advisor. They just help me stay organized about the things I care about.
From September 24, 2026 into October, I built bot after bot and skill after skill. Some worked on the first try. Many needed another pass. Every one taught me something.
It isn't a finished product. It's a living thing, and I work on it every day.
Built for my own home, every day
What's grown out of all this is a whole ecosystem of helpers that work together to help run our household from a lot of different angles.
I want to be clear about what it is. I'm building it for myself and for my own household, and I'm building it every day. It isn't finished, and I don't think it ever really will be. Something gets added, something gets fixed, something gets simpler. That's the way I like it.
Most mornings I find something new to improve. Most evenings I'm grateful for a little time I got back.
Who this is really for
In a way, I'm my own personal lab. I build everything for myself first, and everything here is free right now.
I don't think the real value here is for people who already live and breathe technology. They'll find their own way. I think about someone who hasn't even tried Grok yet.
What took me a little over three weeks to work out, someone else might be able to start well ahead on.
That's especially true for someone who doesn't have my background with numbers and systems. I can't promise how it will go for anyone else. But if a little of what I've learned helps someone get started, I'll be grateful.
Why Unbundle comes first
Along the way I made a small skill called Unbundle. It tidies leftover files, moves them only after you say yes, and points out skills you may not need.
It's just one skill I made along the way for my own ecosystem. I'm sharing it first because it's the easiest piece to hand to someone else. It's free, and it's coming soon.
My hope is to share more of the ecosystem someday. For now, I'm taking it one step at a time.
On October 16, 2026, I secured the domains hammerkeellabs.com and hammerkeel.com, and I filed with the State of Florida through Sunbiz. That filing is still pending approval.
Still on the road
I don't know exactly where this road leads. I'm just a husband and a dad who found a way to give more of his time to faith and family, and who wanted to share a little of what he's learned.
The build is still in progress, today and every day. Thank you for stopping by and being part of the journey.
With gratitude,
Chris
