The bot council
More bots only help if you can still use them.
Why
I wanted my time back, and I wanted to stop guessing. One bot can't do every job well, and a pile of bots nobody checks is worse than none. So each bot gets one job, and they all answer to the same rules.
How it works
- One job each. Email, running the week, security, research, health, money and faith. Add a helper only when you need one.
- One rule set. Every bot follows the same house rules: one decision at a time, and no bot moves money.
- Nothing goes in unchecked. A security bot screens every new skill, rule and post: pass, flag or block.
- Three votes, then mine. Anything public needs a unanimous vote from three bots on the exact text, and then my yes.
- They notice. I decide. The bots don't decide anything for me. They notice things and tell me, and I decide.
- One word stops it all. A stop word halts the whole fleet.
Still in testing. A helper, not a guarantee. See it in practice on the Finds page, or start small with Unbundle.
